Travis Dood: (b 1979 Miami, Florida) is an Atlanta artist who establishes thresholds that allow access to realities built by blending together the concrete and mythological worlds. After moving to Atlanta in 2006, Dodd began to participate in various group exhibitions in the Southeast with shows at: Marcia Wood Gallery (Atlanta), Gallery 5 (Richmond), and Bridge Art Fair (Miami). In Atlanta he has had solo exhibitions at: WhiteSpec, Beep Beep Gallery, and Eyedrum. Dodd received his MA in Sculpture from SCAD in 2014. Most recently, Dodd was selected as a finalist for the 2016 Forward Arts Foundation’s Emerging Artist Award.
